The Android 13 And Its New Changes

As we all know the Android 12 brought many noticeable and big changes as an upgrade to the Android 11, so maybe this time Android didn’t want to overhaul things like the previous time, so they made a lot of small changes and y like small changes as they all add up to make a big change. Today,y I’d like to talk about some of the changes made to Android 13.

Android 13 Changes:

Here are some of the features I’d like to talk about:

1. Spatial Audio & Bluetooth:

Now, what is amazing about the Android 13 is that it will support Spatial Audio by default and it will include Bluetooth LE(Low Energy) which will allow Bluetooth devices to have way lesser latency which can help a lot of mobile gamers and as the name suggests Bluetooth LE consumes a lot lesser battery as compared to the average Bluetooth.

2 . Clipboard Change:

There is a very noticeable change to the clipboard, which is that when we copy any text, a box will pop up in the lower-left corner of the screen. The box will provide us with 2 features:

  • It will allow us to share the URL of the text directly.
  • If we click on it, it will take us to a text editor that will allow us to modify that text. Here, I think this is amazing, as I tend to copy/paste stuff a lot.
  • If we copy an image, it will take us to an image editor from which we can edit the image as we like or paste it as it is wherever we want.

3. Specific Language support for Apps:

Ok, now this feature is worth talking about, ass it is very well thought out. This feature will basically help a lot of bilingual people like me who tend to use a 2nd language other than English or whatever in a specific app. Android will now allow you to select a specific language for every app if you want it.

4. Privacy Improvements:

Apps will now ask for permission to display notifications, which is something you wanted all along. Another change is that now you can allow apps to access only the images that you select; you do not have to provide them access to all your library, which I think is amazing.

5. Visual Changes:

From what I noticed is that the themes picker has now changed and is way more precise, there are changes to the media player, it changes colour according to the type of audio you’re listening to.
